The EV is expected to borrow the powertrain from the Hyundai Creta Electric, meaning it could offer two battery options—42 kWh and 51.4 kWh—paired with a front-mounted electric motor. BMW fans, rejoice! The updated 2 Series Gran Coupe is arriving in India in the second half of July. Originally revealed globally in late 2024, the updated version of this compact luxury sedan brings some sharp styling tweaks and a more modern interior.

The new design follows BMW’s latest trends—think sleeker lights, a more aggressive grille, and a curvier cabin display. While the exterior is bold, the big change under the hood is the introduction of a smaller, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine. This might seem like a downgrade to some, but it’s all about balancing performance and efficiency. Expect prices in the range of Rs. 45–47 lakh (ex-showroom), making it a strong choice for entry-level luxury sedan buyers.

MG

Towards the end of the month, MG is expected to roll out its biggest product yet—the M9 electric MPV. And when we say big, we mean it literally. This is a full-size people mover, packed with tech and comfort features that would put most living rooms to shame.

Under the floor, there’s a massive 90 kWh battery coupled with a 245 bhp front-mounted electric motor. MG claims the M9 will deliver a range of 548 km on a single charge. Inside, second-row passengers get lounge seats with heating, ventilation, and massage. Throw in a split sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, and a giant touchscreen, and you’ve got a feature-packed luxury EV.

It’s expected to go head-to-head with the Kia Carnival in terms of space and comfort, though the price will be steeper—somewhere between Rs. 65–70 lakh.

XUV3XO

Not every launch this month is brand-new. Mahindra is planning to give its popular XUV 3XO a bit of a refresh. This won’t be a massive overhaul, but rather a strategic update with new variants and possibly added features. The goal here is to improve accessibility and broaden the appeal of the 3XO, not to change its mechanical setup or core design.
