Skoda Adds Bentley to Its India Portfolio, Launches Bentley India as a New Entity

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has officially welcomed Bentley into its portfolio, establishing itself as the new distributor and service provider for the luxury British marque in India. This significant move makes Bentley the sixth brand under SAVWIPL’s management, which already oversees Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, Porsche, and Lamborghini.

The shift marks a new chapter for Bentley in India. Until now, the carmaker operated through Exclusive Motors for vehicle imports and distribution. With the formation of Bentley India under SAVWIPL, the brand now transitions to a more structured, localized operation, promising a smoother ownership experience for ultra-luxury car buyers.

The newly created entity, Bentley India, will now take charge of all operational responsibilities including sales, aftersales, and customer services. Leading this operation is Abby Thomas, who brings extensive experience and a deep understanding of the Indian premium and luxury car market.

Dealer Network Expansion

Bentley India is set to establish a fresh retail and service presence across three major cities: Bangalore, Mumbai, and New Delhi. Bangalore and Mumbai will be the first to get new dealerships, with Delhi joining shortly afterward. These outlets will offer Bentley’s full model range along with aftersales support, tailored to meet the expectations of India’s Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNIs).

This localized approach is aimed at improving customer convenience while also reinforcing the exclusivity and performance-oriented appeal of Bentley vehicles.
